Shri Ram Ram Dev was the 1st family member of Dev Sarkar (the main surname was “Dev Sarkar” which was later changed to “Dey Sarkar” and “Sarkar” was gifted surname by Raja Krishna Chandra) family who came from Jassore, Bangladesh to India at Narayanpur and he was brought by Maharaja Krishnachandra and made Dey Sarkar Family as Zamindar of the area extended from Ruby to Tollygunge.

The price of homestead property at that time was Rs 19 and 4 anna.

The family had huge varity of weapons and also had number of horse cars like Fiton, Lando etc.
