On 21st December, 1953, Charitable Trust was formed by contribution of the property of Shri Ramanath Dey Sarkar along with Shri Khagendranath Dey Sarkar, Shri Narendranath Dey Sarkar, Shrimoti Lelaboti Dey Sarkar, Shri Birandranath Dey Sarkar, Shri Amarendra nath Dey Sarkar, Shri Samarandra nath Dey Sarkar, Shri Ganendra nath Dey Sarkar, Shri Dhirandra nath Dey Sarkar, Shri Sachindra nath Dey Sarkar, Shrimoti Mrinalini Dey Sarkar, and Shri Hirandra nath Dey Sarkar.

 

Before the formation of Religious Charitable Trust, Durga puja was stopped in 1940 and at that time Chakraborty family and other local people continued the Puja along with Dey Sarkar family upto 1965. Later Family Mandir was built up in 1966 and then Durga Puja was started in the mandir and it continues.

 

In the year 1952, Government makes the Mandir as tax free land.

 

As it is a Charitable Trust, metro railway formed their first office here during the making of Garia- Tollygunge Metro route.
